Cho Gar Wing Chun is a distinct and rarely-taught branch of Wing Chun Kung Fu, preserved within the Cho family across generations in China. Unlike more widely commercialized Wing Chun lineages, Cho Gar has remained a close, family-guarded tradition — passed from teacher to student with great care.
Nils Ring, a member of the Cho family, has brought this system to Germany for the first time, founding Cho Gar Wing Chun to responsibly share this authentic art with students who value tradition, precision and genuine skill over shortcuts.
Our goal is simple: to introduce Cho Gar Wing Chun to a wider European audience, while staying true to the principles, forms and philosophy exactly as they were transmitted within the family.
